Beginners Rafting 2012

Beginners rafting will be on the weekend of the 16-18 March at the Ash river in Clarens, Free state.

Dates: departing from Wits Friday 16th for Clarence, will be back on Sunday the 18th some time.

Cost: budget R500, might be less, depending on where we stay and how many cars. See attachment for more details

Pool jumping - Mountain sanctuary (Magaliesburg)

Planning a day trip to mountain sanctuary (Magaliesburg) this Saturday (3rd March). Mainly walking up the gorge and enjoying the rock pools. It will be a very laid back walk so it's perfect for new members. It's about a 45 minute drive from wits.will be back after 5pm. 

We will be meeting outside the explorers club room next to flower hall at 6am and leaving soon thereafter. Please let me know soon if you are coming as i will need to make a few calls and organise cars. It will cost you your share of petrol and day pass (R20 as i recall, but will find out once i have an idea of numbers.) also if you are keen and have a car we can use. let me know asap. take it easy.

Suikerbosrand Hike

Couple members heading to Suikerbosrand Nature Reserve on Sunday (19th Feb) for a chilled out day trip. Planning on having a braai and doing the 11.5km walk. Cheeese and Wine - Beginners Welcome

What's up peeps,

So late notice once again, but just to remind you all about the cheeeeeese and wine evening tomorrow (14 Feb) night at the explorers pub (behind flower hall). Starts at 7pm. Good time to meet the new members and high five the old dodgy ones, so come through for a couple drinks, stories, and urban kayaking.
